Presentation Description: Over the past two years, AERO curriculum specialists have been working to extend and deepen the AERO English/Language Arts Standards by building a sequenced, comprehensive English/Language Arts Curriculum Framework with K-12 Standards and Performance Indicators that reflects best practices and the latest research in English/Language Arts education, including the Common Core. During this school year, the new Framework has been vetted with groups of teachers representing several international schools. This workshop will present the new Framework, share the work that has been completed, and invite participants to consider the impact that the Framework can have on the English/Language Arts programs in their schools.
